The genre of our film will be a thriller, horror. Our primary audience is young adults aged 16 - 25, this is because it is more of a mature age. Our trailer will be aimed at females and males because I feel that it will interest both genders. By choosing this age group for my target audience, it makes it easier for to make my trailer because I am in this age group, so I know what will make it interesting for my audience.I researched into what sort of thriller, horror movies they would enjoy.
If i relate my target audience to the JICNAR scale they the age group between 16-19 would come towards the bottom of my JICNAR scale. However the age range between 19-25 could be higher up the scale because they would be looking to go into a job at this age and they could start earning at a low salary.
