Weather for day of recording
This shows the weather forecast for the tomorrow where me and John will start filming. It shows that it will begin to rain at 5pm till 10pm. Were only filming one scene outside so it shouldn't affect me and John that much. If it starts to rain too much we would have to reschedule for later on this week.

‘The group walk into the living room and take a seat’
Nathanael: Congratulations, whens the baby due?
Rachael: In the next two weeks.
Twyla: we brought you a present for the baby.
The camera zooms in on the dolls face.
Rachael: Awww, thanks. Will put it in the babys room.
Rachael and Shikiel walk upstairs and place the dolls in the baby crib.
The camera pans from a shot of Rachael walking out the room to shot of the dolls face. The camera slowly zooms in on the eyes doll.
The next day Rachael is in the kitchen washing up, she notices the knifes are missing from the cabinet. The camera follows Rachael into the living from where she notices objects has gone missing.
Rachael : Have you seen the knifes.
Shikiel : No, but the televisions gone missing.
Rachael : Something strange is going on.
Shikiel: Maybe it’s that doll Twyla and Nathanael gave us.
Rachael : What so the dolls possessed?. That’s impossible. That doesn’t explain where the knifes have too.
Shikiel phones Twyla but she doesn’t pick up.
One night, shikiel starts to hear banging noises.
Shikiel: Rachael did you hear that?
Rachael is fast asleep and doesn’t hear Shikiel.
The banging noises start again but it becomes louder. Racheal also wakes up. Shikiel gets out and walks out his bedroom. He then realises the noises are coming from the back garden.
Shikiel: Im gonna check it out
Rachael : no, lets just wait until the morning.
A loud scream echoes from the garden.
Shikiel : I’ve gotta check it might be a burglary.

Shikiel : whoever you are come out now!
Everything goes quiet with shikiel standing in fear. Racheal is awoken with a loud scream coming from the garden. Frantically she begins to run down the stairs into the kitchen. The screen is shaky and distorted.
A aerial shoot of Rachel running into the garden is captured from the bedroom window.
Racheal : Shikiel (Racheal screams!)

She rushes inside to phone 999, but notices a message on the wall. Whose Next? Is written in blood all over the wall.
Rachael drops the phone and trys to run out the front door but notices its lock. The noises from outside echo throughout the house. The lights begin to flicker rapidly and children’s laughter can be heard from the baby’s room.
Rachael slowly opens the door to the baby’s room… The doll jumps onto the Rachael and the scene cuts to a black screen

Key Scenes
In this first scene, the characters are all living together in the same house. They are dressed like normal young adults.
Shikiel hears banging noises that wakes him up. He checks his phone and realises its 3AM. He then gets up and walks out of his bedroom. the noises are coming from the garden and the back door has been left wide open.
This will be a medium shot of Shikiels face sleeping in a pitch black room. We could have a close up shot of Shikiel's face when he hears banging noises and another close up of the moon in the sky. This scene will be shoot in Twylas bedroom The room goes from being pitch black to being dimly light after Shikiel turns the lamp on. After this scene we could have a close up of Shikiel's feet walking to the door and another close up of his hand on the door nob. we could also include sound effects of the knob twisting and the floor board creaking, this could build up the intensity of the scene and suggest a paranormal presence in the room. We could shoot this scene in slow motion to build up tension and leave the audience wondering whats going to happen next. We could also have a POV shot of Shikiel walking down the stairs with his hand on the railing.
Shikiel is lying on the ground with a big bite into his neck and blood all over the grass The other three characters are stood there with shock on their faces.
This will be a close up shot of Shikiels face and a extreme close up of the bite on his neck. The scene will be shoot in the back-garden of Twylas house and will use low key lighting since were filming it in the middle of the night. we could have additional lighting from the touches the characters are holding.we could also use fake blood to capture the blood and gore that horror films always use. we could also place a weapon in the scene like a kitchen knife or a baseball bat covered with blood, this would suggest that he has been brutally murdered and the killer has left clues behind. This scene will be shoot in the middle of night with the other characters wearing pyjamas. we could then have a close up shot of the three characters faces in shock, the music will switch from being slow and eerie to fast and dramatic. We could also include jump cuts switching from a shot of Shikiel's face on the ground to shots of Rachael in shock.
This will be a medium shot of shikiel, Rachael and Nathanael in the living room of Twyla's house. We could have a close up shot of the dolls face when Nathanael gives the doll to Shikiel, After this shot we could have a extreme close up of the dolls eyes. This shot could represent the doll as being paranormal and hint that the dolls alive. This scene will use high key lighting because its being shot in the morning, however the next scene will be shot in the night which could show a contrast between day and night, furthermore it could show a passing of time. The characters in the scene will be dressed in casual clothes and the room will be decorated with banners and balloons to show that the couple have just had a baby. This scene could end in a wide shot of the room showing all the items in the living room, this shot could fade into black, to indicate that the days over.
After this scene, a lot of things start to happen in the house and doors have been left open. Items start to go missing, so this means there must be a ghost their amongst them.
This will be a wide shot of the living room with a before and after shot to show that some items have gone missing. This scene will be shot in the morning to indicate that the items were taken the night before. We could have more wide shots of different rooms too.

It will also create an effect my audience, because it will make my trailer more interesting. When I use this soundtrack I will make sure I use it correctly. This means I will make the soundtrack louder when there is no narrator speaking. By using this soundtrack, it will have a big impact on my trailer.

'The Ultimate How To Guide To Making Trailers'
Creating a film trailer seems to be one of the most popular production. A trailer will be a short 2 minute film which tells the story of the film. However, when creating the trailer you have to put a lot of thought into it because you have to do a lot of research and planning.
The purpose of trailers is to make the audience know about upcoming films. When a new trailer comes out, posters and other things help market the product so that it delivers to audiences.
The target audience;
Whilst making a trailer, the distributor needs to think about who the target audience for the film will be. Whilst choosing a target audience they need to think about
This is a bad example of a horror trailer because the trailer doesn't make sense. Even though scenes from the actual film are used in the trailer, there's not a clear story line of what is going to happen in the film. The text that is used in the trailer doesn't have an effect on anything and it doesn't relate back to the genre of horror. The sound that is used in the trailer isn't scary so the target audience wouldn't find this exciting. The one thing that is good about the trailer is that the sound builds up to create tension for the audience.

The target audience;
Whilst making a trailer, the distributor needs to think about who the target audience for the film will be. Whilst choosing a target audience they need to think about
- where the trailer is going to be advertised
- how will they promote the trailer
- how will they promote the trailer
When planning a trailer, the distributor has to be aware of two things, which is the unique selling point of a film. This is to decide what makes the film different from others in its genre. It should also be aware of the audience for the film.
A film distributor has to decide how they will present a film to a potential audience. They need to decide what sets this film parts from different films. For example if the distributors is looking to film a horror film, they need to look for things that are different to other horror films. Whilst figuring this out, they will look at the different people who will star in the film.
In a trailer, theres a mixture of moving images, graphics and voice overs to make the audience feel as if they are in the trailer. It can make the audience know what the genre is and what the story is about. In a trailer there are usually extracts from the final product. This makes it more exciting for the audience.
In a trailer, you can also include music that will sort the trailer. The trailer also needs to include the right camera shots so that it is effective for the audience and so it doesn't make the trailer boring. Ensure that there is a variety of shots used in the trailer. But don't make the trailer too long. It can also give out too much information about the film.
The film has to think about the age, gender, lifestyles and activities of an audience. Target audience can change, depending on the type of genre of a film. It can range from young children, to teenagers to older adults. Its the distributors job to do a lot of research and planning so they know how to target the right audience. Each film has to be treated as an individual product.
Creating your trailer; The story
The starting point should be knowing the complete story of your film. Most trailers would use the scenes and editing shots from the actual film. They would also use dialogue which would help create the narrative image. The trailer will help introduce the main characters within the film. You would also need make sure the genre is easy for the audience to recognise. However, some people may find it hard to produce a trailer without giving away the whole plot of the film. The most common errors in a trailer are;
